Thomas Matako

Thomas Matako, 67, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at  Lutheran Fort Wayne.

Thomas was born on January 24, 1956, in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of Albert and Mary (Holston) Matako. He was united in marriage to Linda Beall on January 1, 2020.

He worked as a commercial truck driver who eventually retired. Thomas enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife Linda and loved his family. He also loved camping, fishing, woodworking, and traveling.

Thomas will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda of Warsaw; daughters Nicole (Jeff) Sharp of Lapeer, MI and Jamie (Kevin) Raymond of Vassar, MI; a son Thomas (Briana) Matako of Grand Rapids, MI; step-son (Jeremy (Kristina) Chapman of Frankfort, IN; a brother Andy (Cindy) Matako of Marshall, MI; sisters Janet (Dean) Nichols of Reese, MI and Sue Matako of Bellevue, MI; grandchildren Hannah Sharp, Anthony Sharp, Ryan Sharp, Jacob Sharp, Joseph Sharp, Chloe Nolasco, Hunter Raymond, Cody Marcinko, Katie Chapman, and Joshua Chapman. He was preceded in passing by both parents, a brother Gary Matako, and 2 sisters Mary VanAlst, Sandra Wyotta .
