Today, a large family mourns the loss of Sierra Monique Damron. Sierra Damron 36, of Marshall, Michigan passed away on September 7th, 2022, due to injuries sustained from a car accident.
Sierra was born on October 21st, 1985, to Teddy and Kimela Damron (Galloway) in Marshall, MI. After Sierra graduated from Marshall High School in 2004, she went on to continue her studies at Kellogg Community College where she obtained her Certified Nurse’s Assistant certification. She later started her much loved career at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall as a CNA. Her most recent job was at Tenneco in Marshall.
In 2009, Sierra met Tyler Hartle. Sierra and Tyler shared a love of many common interests including family, friends, and a fun-loving appreciation for life. They subsequently went on to welcome two beautiful boys, Graysen, 11 and Uriah, 7. Sierra’s children were truly the loves of her life.
Sierra was a sweet natured, warm-hearted, and playful person who loved being with her family. Watching her children and her sisters’ children wrestle was always a highlight for her. Sierra was known for always going above and beyond and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She enjoyed cleaning, organizing, and the simpler things in life. One of her favorite things was taking in a beautiful morning, with a cup of coffee and a country song. She loved the fall, Halloween, silly dancing, ice cream, going for long walks, and spending as much time as possible with her boys.
Left to cherish Sierra’s memory are her two children, Graysen and Uriah; mother, Kimela (John) Galloway; father, Teddy (Lisa) Damron; and sisters; Amber Arizmendi, Maisie Damron, and Mattie Damron; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also, grandparents, Jeannie Kipker, James (Linda) Dostal. She was proceeded by grandparents, Andrew and Maggie Damron, and Robert Kipker.
Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Highway 27 N. Marshall, MI 49068. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday, September 12, 2022, from 10:00am until the memorial service begins at 11:00am, Shawn Loughrige officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at Lyon Lake Cemetery, 8514 17 Mile Rd, Marshall, MI 49068.
