Patricia Helen Jordan

Patricia Helen Jordan, 71, of Burlington died on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at her home following a long hard illness Pancreatic Cancer.

Pat was born on November 11, 1948, in Battle Creek to Albert and Mary (Elko) Jordan.  She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1967.

Pat worked for 36 years at K-Mart Stores in Battle Creek.  She also worked on her farm in Burlington since 1977.  She was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. Phil Catholic Church in Battle Creek, where she served as an usher for many years. Pat was proud of her 10 gallons of blood donated over the years to help others.  She enjoyed being outdoors, caring for her animals and working on her farm.

She is survived by her friend and care giver, Diana DuBois of Burlington; siblings, James (Betty) Jordan of California, Joe (Mary) Jordan of Bellevue, and MaryAnn Torrey of Ceresco; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, William Jordan, John Jordan, and Albert Jordan.

A rosary service will take place at 9:30AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at St. Philip Catholic Church 112 Capital Ave. NE. Family will gather with friends from 10AM-11AM on Wednesday February 12, 2020 with a Funeral Mass taking place at 11AM with Father John Fleckenstein officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Battle Creek.  Memorial contributions are requested to St. Philip Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.  Assistance with memorials is available at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services.  Leave a personal message for the family and sign the online guestbook at www.kempffuneralhome.com
