Margaret Anne Doubleday, 93, of Ceresco, passed away on August 29, 2022, in Battle Creek, MI.

She was born on July 23, 1929, to Denver and Mary (Good) Gibbons in Battle Creek, MI. She attended school in Athens, graduating with the class of 1946. Margaret met Lester and were married soon after he returned from the service. She raised three children before going back to get her teaching degree at MSU. Margaret worked as a teacher for Mason Public Schools until retirement. Margaret and Lester lived on Lee Lake for many years.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Terry Doubleday of Ceresco, MI; and Mary (Richard) Bissell of Mason, MI; Two grandchildren, Lisabeth (Brian) Essick, Edward (Tina Reimer) Bissell; Great-Grandson, Connor Bissell; Great-Granddaughter, Molly Bissell; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lester Edward Doubleday, Parents, Son, Lester William Doubleday, and Brother, Lyle Gibbons.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, at 1:00 pm, at the Leroy Congregational Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Centrica Care Navigators.
