Jean M. (Sherman) Boulis

Jean M. Boulis, 55, of Homer passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Flower House Adult Foster Care Home in Nashville following a short illness.
Jean was born on March 31, 1965 in Albion to Howard J and Donna J (Dye) Sherman. She graduated from Homer High School in 1983. On October 9, 1998 she married Mike Boulis in Battle Creek.
Jean worked for Cascarelli's in Homer for many years. Prior to that she worked at Rennco. She enjoyed the outdoors working in her flower beds. Jean loved visiting family and friends and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Mike; children Brooks (Abby) Bowser and Brandi Bowser; two step-children, Jason (Michelle) Boulis and Sandra (Derrick) Giberson; eight grandchildren; Step-Father David Swope; siblings Jeff (Carol) Sherman and Steve (Babby) Sherman. She was preceded in death by her father Howard Sherman in 2012 and her mother Donna Swope in 2001.
Visitation will take place from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Kempf Funeral and Cremation Services 303 South Hillsdale Street Homer MI 49245. **Due to Covid-19 entrances and exits will marked ** A graveside service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday July 29, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Homer.
