Danny C. "Boone" Miller,71, of Flint formerly of Marshall died on Saturday, January 23, 2021 after being stricken suddenly at home.
Boone was born on July 20, 1949 in Marshall to Harry F. and Velma E. (DeCant) Miller. He graduated from Olivet High School in 1967, where he was a proud member of the football team.
Boone was a truck driver, and he drove a truck for several different factories in the Olivet and Marshall Area. After he retired 2001, he drove for Battle Creek Cab part time for several years. Boone was an avid cribbage player. He enjoyed horse racing, and training horses. Boone loved going out with his family and friends, but he especially enjoyed the time with his great-nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his sister, Jean McDade; nieces and nephews, Cheyanne (Branden Hodge) Brown, Jerimiah Brown, Jami (Seth) Sokol; other nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; close friend Teddy King, and his cat "Pepper". He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Kelly; siblings Jimbo Miller and Linda Archer; and his cat "Bubba".
