Wendy Sue (Perlick) Garland

Wendy Sue Garland, 72, of Bellevue, Michigan passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 12, 1949 to Carl and Hazel (Allen) Perlick in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Wendy graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1968. She married Lanny Garland on November 21, 1970, sadly he preceded her in death on December 15, 2011.

Wendy was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she loved being a homemaker. She enjoyed completing adult coloring books, reading, cooking, watching westerns and Gunsmoke. She was a dog and cat lover. They were married for 41 years and she was a proud military wife for 22 years during his military career.

Wendy is survived by her loving daughters; Sarah Garland of Bellevue, Michigan and Shannon Garland of Bellevue, Michigan, and her grandaughter, Evony Garland of Bellevue, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lanny, her children, Christine, Robert, Edwin and Dale, and her brother, James Perlick.

A Celebration of Wendy's life will take place at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Chicago, Illinois or the Wounded Warrior Project.
