Wanda Lee (Pratt) Robinson-Goble

Wanda "Mom Mom" Lee Robinson-Goble, 83, of Albion, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Henry Ford Allegiance in Jackson, Michigan.

She was born on April 19, 1940 to Girvin and Myrtle (Sloan) Pratt in Pine Top, Kentucky.

In 1957, Wanda married Bill Robinson and they had three children. Bill preceded her in death in May of 1997, she later married Richard Goble in 2003 and he preceded her in death in November of 2021.Wanda started her working career as a cook at Albion Hospital. After many years at the hospital, she went on to work as a laborer at McGraw & Edison in Albion. Missing what she loved to do, cooking, she went to Do Drop In, Homer, Knife & Fork in Homer, Gay's in Litchfield and then at Coaches in Homer until her retirement.

She had a great love for the Lord and her family. Wanda enjoyed shopping, crosswords and watching old westerns on TV. Her true passion was cooking, Wanda’s perfect day consisted of cooking a meal and having her family over for dinner. Her specialty was fried chicken, chicken and dumplings and her family will especially miss her recipe of chocolate gravy. You never left her house hungry, and she always made sure you felt welcome and part of the family.

Wanda "Mom Mom" is survived by her loving children, Sue (Bruce) Heaton of Homer, Michigan; Ed Robinson of Albion, Michigan and Calvin (Darlene) Robinson of Saginaw, Michigan, her grandchildren, Jeremy (Ashley) Heaton of Linden, Michigan, Brant (Becky) Heaton of Homer, Michigan, Brianna (Rob) Mestdagh of Homer, Michigan, Baylie (Allie Gullett) Robinson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Liza (Tanner) Thompson of Marshall, Michigan, Lindsay (Matt) VanArsdale of Saginaw, Michigan, Nicholas (Libby) Robinson of Saginaw, Michigan and Mitchell (Brandy) Robinson of Laingsburg, Michigan; her 13 great grandchildren, her grandson in law, Wheston Behmlander of Freeland, Michigan; her siblings, Clyde (Barb)  Pratt of Marshall, Michigan, Marie Rewa of Marshall, Michigan and Monnie (Clois) Hackworth of Homer, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Morgan (Robinson) Behmlander her six brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 303 S. Hillsdale St. Homer, Michigan 49245.

Funeral services for Wanda will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, 11:00 am at the Kempf Family Funeral Home, Homer Chapel with John Fulton officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Homer, Michigan.
