In 1978 the family relocated to Marshall, MI. where Veronica began working for 2 new physicians in town. She remained employed by Dr. David Lambrix for 20 years.

After retirement she spent some time helping her husband with their new start up business, Advanced Fuel Components, Inc. During and after this period, Veronica enjoyed traveling, especially back to Hungary, where she even got to take her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Joseph and Kloey on separate occasions.

She also enjoyed being with friends, cheering on the ND Fighting Irish and most of all spending time with Joe and their family and at their second home in Tucson, AZ
