Trisha Danielle George

Trisha Danielle George, 35, of Marshall, Michigan passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 14, 1988 to Floyd and Pamela Streets-George in Marshall, Michigan. On October 9, 2019 Trisha married April Grove.

Trisha graduated from Homer High School in 2006 where she excelled in basketball and softball. She was also the student President of FFA during high school. Trisha continued her education at Kellogg Community College, earning her associate degree and then achieving her goal of graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree on September 11, 2023 from the University of Phoenix.

She worked as a customer service representative at McElroy Metal Manufacturing in Marshall, Michigan for the past 13 years.

Trisha was a member of Crossroads Church and Ministries in Marshall and at Christian Fellowship Bible Church in Marshall.

She enjoyed volunteering at Heritage Commons Senior Enrichment Center in Marshall and with the Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life Walk. Trisha remained very active throughout her life, which included coed softball, burn boot camp, kayaking, color and mud runs, volleyball, snowmobiling, meticulously taking care of her yard and especially bowling on the Tuesday night league at Marshall Lanes. Her team won the league championship in 2021 and her name was often seen on the bowling leader boards. She even went skydiving to overcome one of her fears. Animals shared a soft spot with Trisha. Her dogs Remington and Chemo Raye and her cats Harper, Lucy and Fox will surely miss their walks and gentle care from Trisha. She loved organizing family parties, also attending Talon's and her nieces and nephews sporting and school events. Her family and friends will always remember her for the generous, selfless huge heart and soul she had for others. She would post daily inspirational quotes on her Facebook page and call or check in with anyone needing someone to talk to. Even through her illness she was the first person there to help, without question, especially her family. She was quoted as saying that "God gave me cancer as a way for me to help others" She was "The Warrior".

Trisha is survived by her loving spouse April, her son, Talon H. Hartle of Marshall, Michigan; her father Floyd George of Battle Creek, Michigan, her mother, Pamela Streets-George of Tekonsha, Michigan: her maternal grandfather, Joe D. Streets of Homer, Michigan; her paternal grandmother, Donna (Robert) Hinspeter of Tekonsha, Michigan; her brothers, Erik (Kadi) George of Homer, Michigan and Shane (Sam) George of Homer, Michigan; her nieces and nephews, Kamron, Ayden, Ava, Max, Charli and Wilder; her step-paternal grandmother, Joann George of E. Tawas, Michigan; her surrogate grandmother, Mary Williams of Salyersville, Kentucky and her father and mother-in-law, George (Debbie) Grove of Marshall, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Colleen M. Streets and her paternal grandfather, Floyd C. George.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Crossroads Church and Ministries 717 US Hwy 27 N Marshall, Michigan 49068 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Pastor Clare Loughrige, officiating.

Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Homer, Michigan at a later date.
