Theresa “Terri” Ann Bergstresser, 54, of Marshall, passed away on March 13, 2024 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born on August 17, 1969 to Robert and Daisy (Leaf) Lenz in Battle Creek, MI. She graduated from Harper Creek High School. She married Jeffrey Bergstresser on October 27, 2004 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Terri worked for J & L Automotive in Olivet.
Terri was a great person, a lovable, humble character. Terri loved her German Shepards, Chewy, Sasha, Odie and Mela. She loved vacationing to Tennessee and Florida, listening to music and enjoying cookouts at family gatherings. Terri’s favorite holiday was Easter, for she loved the sweet treats such as, peeps and candy cigarettes. She loved having a drink of Old Smokey Salted Caramel every now and then. As well as having cases upon cases of Dr. Pepper. Terri always loved watching her criminal shows, Law and Order and CSI on TV. They were her favorite. Her favorite color was purple. Terri always had a smile on her face, she could light up the world with it. She was always willing to help anyone whenever they needed it. She loved daisies and roses, especially in the spring when they would bloom. But most importantly, Terri loved her family, she adored them. Her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She loved every single one of them with her whole heart. She was always so excited to get to spend time with her grandkids, whenever she got the chance.
Terri is survived by Jeff Bergstresser; daughters, Jessica Nilson of Battle Creek, Sabrina Nilson of Battle Creek, Heather Nilson of Battle Creek; son, Thomas Bergstresser of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Kaelynn, Bubba, Parker, Whitney, Emma, Sonya, and Lincoln; brother, John (Ashlee) Lenz; niece, Tawni Lenz and great niece, Tamari Lenz.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Marshall, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 5:00 pm at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services Marshall, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068, with Pastor Travis Davis officiating.
The burial of cremated remains will be in Rice Creek Cemetery.
