Sheldon "Buzz" P. Coats, II

Sheldon “Buzz” Coats II, 59, of Marshall, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He was born March 31, 1963, son of Sheldon Coats and Beverly (Dadow) Coats. Buzz was a lifelong resident of Marshall, Michigan. He attended Marshall Public Schools graduating in 1981. He worked for Dadow Power Equipment as a Service Technician for 36 years until the shop closed in 2017. He continued to service lawn equipment for valued customers in his home garage. When not working, you could find him tinkering with or driving his 1966 El Camino that he spent many years restoring. Buzz also enjoyed crafting projects out of wood that would make others envious, such as tack boxes for his nieces in the 4-H Tumbleweed Riders Club. Buzz was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time helping family and friends. Above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his dogs. Buzz is survived by his sister, Shelaina “Shelly” Coats, and his dogs Kamm and Lily. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 1-5pm at Convis Township Hall, located at 19500 15 Mile Rd, Marshall, MI 49068.
