Sharon Rae (Pratt) Potter

Sharon Rae Potter, age 73, of Bellevue, MI, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.

Sharon was born in Flint, MI, on July 27, 1948, the daughter of the late Elmer and Marion Pratt. She was a very giving and caring person and would help anyone in need. She made a significant impact on many people’s lives and will be greatly missed.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Potter; her father, Elmer Pratt, her mother, Marion Genshaw and stepfather, Morris Genshaw; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Clayton Johns; and brother, Jack Pratt.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Nikki) Potter, Tara Potter, and Chelsea Douglas; grandchildren, Jacob (Jessica Traub) Potter, Steven Reynold, Ashley (Sam Eastman) Potter, Mackenzie Potter, Tylynn Hebenstreit and Angelina Cody; great-grandchildren, Wenzdae and Zaedin Traub; brothers-in-law, Barry (Sharon) Potter and Edward (Jeanne) Potter; nephews, Aaron Potter, Jack Johns, Bryan Potter and Danny Beck; and many cousins and extended relatives.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Bellevue United Methodist Church, 122 W Capital Ave, Bellevue, MI 49021.
