Scott "Scotty" Allen Greene

Scott "Scotty" Allen Greene, 54, of Sodus, Michigan, formerly of Altoona, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 7, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on January 31, 1968 to Larry and Jerri (Ron) (Fowler) Estright in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Altoona Area High School.

Scotty worked as a carpenter for Tradesman Construction Company in Kalamazoo for many years. He was an excellent guitar player and was a longtime member of the Walking Edge Band. His favorite music to listen to and play was classic rock and roll, he loved to use his music and storytelling to make others feel good. Scotty was a very caring, giving and fun-loving person. He truly was a live in the moment person and enjoyed conversing with others about the meaning of life.

Scotty is survived by his children; Harley Greene of Battle Creek, Michigan, Shelby Greene of Marshall, Michigan and Scott (Brayland) Greene of Norfolk, Virginia, his granddaughter; Sophia Rivera of Battle Creek, Michigan, his step-children; Alyssa Szuma, Amanda Lyons, Ciara Fromm and Jeffery "Fred" Fromm, his siblings; Wahnetah Greene-Purvis, Tanya Greene-Kuklinskie, Todd (Heather) Greene and Brandon (Amanda Oswald) Greene all Altoona, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Greene.

Visitation for Scotty will take place on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall, Michigan 49068 with the memorial service to follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Olmstead officiating.
