Scott Kendrick Beebe, 61, of Battle Creek, Michigan, died peacefully at home on Saturday, September 30, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after battling a long illness.
He was born on May 31, 1962 to Lee and Beverly Austensen) Beebe in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Scott was a 1980 graduate of Marshall High School.
On February 12, 1982, he married Diane Schlottman in Homer, Michigan. Scott was a Tool & Die Maker at Denso Manufacturing in Battle Creek for 31 years, retiring in 2023.One of Scott's favorite things to do was to go camping and drink a cold beer by the fire. Diane and Scott traveled through- out Michigan on their camping adventures. He was a very talented and creative man, for example, he made his children's Halloween costumes from scratch every year and the Homer High School mascot costume. Scott was a perfectionist and very handy around the house fixing things. He watched the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune faithfully. Scott will be fondly missed by his T.D. tiny dog and for his thoughtful and caring ways.
Scott is survived by his loving spouse of 41 years, Diane, his mother, Rose Beebe of Racine, Wisconsin: his son, Brock (Sarah) Beebe of Negaunee, Michigan and his daughter, Rachelle Beebe of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his grandchildren, Annabelle, Elaina and Norah; and his sister, Michelle Peterson of Racine, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Beebe and his biological mother, Beverly Beebe, his sister's, Korrine Beebe and Julaine Beebe-Kalisz.
Per Scott's wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall, Michigan 49068.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society (PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741) or The Humane Society of South Central Michigan (2500 Watkins Rd. Battle Creek, MI 49015).
