Sarah Katherine Tackett

Sarah Katherine Tackett, 41, of Olivet, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan

She was born on December 3, 1980 to Donald and Dorothy (Innis) Tackett in Pike, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Olivet High School.

Sarah had worked at Air-Way Manufacturing in Olivet and also at The Olivet Citgo Gas Station which became BP. She loved to write poetry, some of her work was printed in local books. Sarah enjoyed cooking especially during the holidays.

Sarah is survived by her loving children; Caleb Morgan Tackett of Olivet, Michigan, Donald Keegan Hotchkiss of Olivet, Michigan, Kevin Joseph Tackett of Zeeland, Michigan and Emily Noel Hotchkiss of Olivet, Michigan, her mother: Dorothy Tackett of Pike, Kentucky, her brother; Chad Polen of Fife Lake, Michigan, her sister; Tracy Tackett of Kentucky and her cousin Thomas Klingman of Olivet, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Tackett.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Rice Creek Cemetery, Lee Township, Michigan, with Pastor Jim Codde officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
