Rosemary J. (Brubaker) Orwig

Rosemary Jean (Brubaker) Orwig, 90, of Marshall passed away peacefully at home October 25, 2022.

Rosemary was born April 21, 1932 in Marshall, Michigan to Rainey and Goldie (McCabe) Brubaker and was a graduate of Marshall High School, class of 1950. Following graduation, on October 27, 1950 Rosemary married the love of her life, Billy Ray Orwig Sr. and shared 71 years together before he passed earlier this year in January. In 1966 she went to work for the Kellogg Company in Battle Creek retiring in 1993, was a member of the 25 Year Club and attended Family Bible Church. Rosemary and Bill loved to travel and take their granddaughters on trips with them.

Rosemary is survived by her son, Bill Ray (Lisa) Orwig Jr. of Wellington, FL; grandchildren, Stacy (Paul) Kathmeyer of Lighthouse Point, FL, Michelle (Ryan) Evers of Loxahatchee, FL; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jason Evers; her daughter, Annette (Bryan) Cornwell of Marshall, MI; grandchildren, Emilie (Joseph) Amundson of Okemos, MI, and great-grandchildren, Trenton and Lillian Amundson; granddaughter, Ivie (Eric) Bryant of Bloomfield Hills; great-grandchildren, Aiden, and Olivia Bryant of Bloomfield Hills; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Bill; parents, Rainey and Goldie Brubaker; brothers, Edwin, Harold, and Jerry; and sisters, Dorthy and Bonnie.
