Ronald "Ron" Keith Calhoun

Ronald Keith Calhoun, 61, of Battle Creek, passed away on Sunday, July 9th 2023 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo.

Ron was born on March 10th 1962 to John and Shirley (Fisher) Calhoun in San Diego, California. He graduated from Battle Creek Lakeview High School in 1980.

Ron spent most of his life working at Technical Auto Parts in Battle Creek, starting in 1989 as a line worker and then as a team leader, after many years he retired due to medical reasons.

Ron was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle and grandpa. Being a father and grandfather were the most important things in life. He enjoyed fishing, rock music, football, reading Stephen King novels and most of all being with his family and friends. He was goofy and always joking around trying to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his sweet daughter Shelby Calhoun and brother Scott Calhoun. He is survived by his daughter Jordyn Calhoun (Denzel); his beautiful granddaughter Kaliyah Boyd; his wonderful parents, John and Shirley Calhoun; his brother, Mike (Christine) Calhoun; a niece and nephew and tons of cousins who will miss him truly.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
