Robert Charles Vincent

Robert Charles Vincent, 85, of Marshall passed away on February 18th, 2022, at Oaklawn Hospital, after an illness and complications from his COPD.

He was born on March 16th, 1936, to R Duel and Ethel (Ostrander) Vincent in Jackson, MI. He attended Battle Creek Central High School. Robert joined the Air Force where he served in the states and overseas. Robert worked as an inspector for Corning's Glass Company in Albion and as a Psychiatric Nurses Aid for the VA Hospital in Battle Creek, MI. He attended First Baptist Church of Marshall. Robert loved to golf and play basketball, football, and baseball, in his younger years. He was an enthusiast of watching these sports on TV and listening to them on the radio, in the car, and at home. Robert was known for telling jokes and enjoyed making people laugh.

Robert or (Bob), which he was mostly known by, was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Munger) Vincent, of 64 years; two daughters and one son, Sally (Derick) Sipress, Sandra (Billy) Shroll, and Thomas (Michelle) Vincent; Seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry and David Vincent; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Kempf Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US HWY 27 N, Marshall MI 49068, with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12 p.m. Afterwards, military honors will be conducted by the Air Force. A luncheon will follow at the First Baptist Church of Marshall, 305 Michigan Ave, Marshall. There will be a live stream made available for those who are unable to attend.
