Patricia "Patty" Marie (Cox) Bischoff

Patricia Marie Bischoff, 86, of Marshall, passed away on January 2, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 4, 1936, to Donald and Florence (Johnson) Cox in Saginaw, Michigan and was a graduate of Marshall High School, Class of 1954. On November 6, 1954, she married the love of her life, Robert and they raised their family in Marshall, Michigan.

Patty was a Bluebird Camp Leader when her daughters were young; she volunteered with March of Dimes as a recruiter and enjoyed crafting, doing diagramless crossword puzzles, and going to Tiger Ball Games. She loved cruising even though she was afraid of water, and it became one of her favorite things to do. Patty especially loved children, all children, including the neighbor kids inviting them in to teach them crafts. She also loved "Smiley Faces" and had quite an extensive collection.

Patty is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert; two daughters, Mary (Rick) Pennington of Marshall, and Brenda (Steve) Thomas of Marshall; son, Robert (Patti) Bischoff, Jr of Marshall; four granddaughters, Michelle, Amanda, Jenny, and Sarah; two grandsons, Robert A., and Curt; two great-granddaughters, Lillyann, and Abby; three great-grandsons, Seth, Brendan, and Ben; and sister, Nancy Ackerley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald J. and Florence “Winnie” Cox; daughter, Sharon K. Jones; sister, Ruth Peters; and brothers, Donald J. Cox, Jr, and Kenneth Cox.

Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan, 49068. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm with the funeral service at 3:00 pm, Jacob E. Washburn, officiating. Graveside service will follow in Oakridge Cemetery.
