Patricia Ann (Rutledge) Whitney

Patricia A. Whitney, 87, of Battle Creek formerly of Howell, died on Thursday April 29, 2021 at Pine View of North Pointe Woods
Patricia was born on September 12, 1933 in Battle Creek to Dale and Elesta (Myles) Rutledge. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1952. She married Walter McLeod and together they had five children, Mike, Ron, Chuck, Don, and Debra. On February 5, 1967 she married Kenneth Whitney in Battle Creek. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Patricia retired as a School Bus Driver from the Livingston County Howell Area for for 40 years. She also raised and sold Beagles and Scottish Terriers for several years. Patricia was an avid auction goer and enjoyed colleting and selling antiques.
She is survived by her children Mike (Tracy) McLeod, Ron (Janet) McLeod, Chuck (Debra) McLeod, Don (Kate) McLeod, and Debra (David) Morrison; grandchildren, Justin, Kira, Mellissa, Charles, Samantha, and Tracy; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A graveside service will take place at 11am on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at Chilson Hills Cemetery, 4789 Chilson Road, Howell MI 48843.
