Orin Cornish

Orin Cornish, 91, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away on April 12, 2024 at his home in Florida surrounded by his loving family.   

He was born on November 26, 1932 to Orin and Beulah (Parkhurst) Cornish in Cambria Township, MI. Orin married Doris L. Henry on May 5, 1962 in Marshall, Michigan. He had worked for Inner Pipe Corporation for several years, retiring when he was 82. Orin loved his Chia-Poo dogs, Sandy and Ginger and he also loved to watch football; the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were his favorite team. Orin loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed it when they came to visit.

Orin is survived by his loving spouse of 61 years, Doris, children, Bonnie Nelson, Katrina (Randy) Sommers, Regina Cornish, Kevin (Polly) Cornish; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Joshua) Wilder, Derek (Erin) Nelson, Jeremy (Haley) Nelson, Graham Cornish, Carson (Elise) Cornish, Reese Cornish, Braxton Cornish; great grandchildren, Brylee, Harrison, Gauge, Braxton, Allie, Cheznie, Carson, Carter; sister, Ann Anderson and brother, David Cornish. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Robert, Ruth, Mack, Virginia, Joann, Betty, Norma and best friend, Harley Earl.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Marshall, Michigan.
     

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 11:00 am at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services Marshall, Marshall, Michigan, with Greg Carlson officiating.

Burial will take place in the Oakridge Cemetery.
