Nickolas "Nick" Blake Williams born July 1, 2005, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, entered heaven on October 25, 2023, as the result of a car accident.
Nick was a 2023 graduate of Athens Junior/Senior High School. He was employed by Target Distribution Center in Galesburg, Michigan. He was awaiting an opening into the apprenticeship program with IBEW as an electrician.
Nick was a very warm, happy, and loving jokester and loved to tease everyone. He loved his family and friends, especially his mom. He had a very special lady, Sky Brown, who put a real twinkle in his eye. He also had best friends, Jayden Stevens USMC from Kalkaska, and BFFS Cody, Jazz and Victor all from East Leroy. Nick’s passions were lifted trucks and fast cars. He loved going to Cleetus McFarland, LS George and Crew events every summer. Nick, his mom, and brother, Morgan, spent weekends traveling to race tracks all over Michigan for heads up and drag racing. They went to Galesburg, Milan, and 131 where he met the great Shirley Muldowny which was a thrill for him. Every year they made a trip to Indy. Mom loaded all the friends up, and off they went for a two-day event of pure fun.
Nick is survived by his mother, Kimberly Sartwell; father, Robert Williams; brothers, Cole Tiedeman and Morgan Williams; grandmothers, Claudia Short and LaRae Evans; aunt Chyanne and uncle Tuffy Plonsky; aunt Sheila Cole; aunt Linda Reeves ; uncle Ronnie and aunt Holly Williams; uncle Ray Short and aunt Susan Mida; uncle Brian Short; uncle Kyle and aunt Shannon Scott; aunt Amy and uncle Albert Henry; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Charles I. Short and Charles M. Evans, as well as aunt Renee Short.
A celebration of life service for Nick will take place at 11:30 am, Saturday, November 4, 2023 with a luncheon to follow at Battle Creek Friends Church 1305 Olive St. Battle Creek, Michigan 49014.
Interment will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
