Nichole "Coco" Marie White

July 25, 1983 — November 24, 2023

Battle Creek

Nichole Marie White of Battle Creek age 40, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 in her home. Nichole, lovingly called Coco by her family, was born to Elizabeth White on July 25th, 1983, in Battle Creek.
Coco from a young age adored her family. The memories of her family were her most cherished possessions. Coco delighted in watching old family videos. From a young age she was the record keeper of her clan, always taking photos, to share with everyone. As well as being an accomplished camerawoman, Coco was an excellent artist and regularly gifted her family with drawings. Art was a big part of Cocos life; she was always creating something. During her childhood Nichole won several awards for her artistic talents, often over older kids.
As an adult, Nichole was active with Community Inclusive Recreation in Battle Creek, participating in many activities. Coco frequently went to Target and Dollar Tree, making friends as she went. Nichole had no trouble making friends as she was known for being kind, honest, and bold. She never had trouble telling you her thoughts, while being graceful and sweet as ever.
Family was one of Nicholes’ greatest joys. She was always in contact with one of her sisters and occasionally dropped in for spontaneous visits. Coco wore the title aunt with pride. She loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. When not taking them on sprees, she simply enjoyed being with everyone. Be that cooking or playing, she always had time for her nieces and nephews. Coco felt that no argument was bigger than kinship. Always the peacekeeper Coco would advise others to make up. As her family grew so did Cocos love. No one was left outside of her sunny embrace.
Nichole was a caring sister, a beloved daughter, and a fun aunt, she will be greatly missed. For Coco we embrace her family as they grieve. The memories Nichole leaves behind are only good ones. She brightens her families’ days even in passing. She reminds us to love life while we are able. She made a point to remind everyone that “Life is too short to not feel all the joy that it allows.”
Nichole is survived by her mother Elizabeth M. White of Battle Creek, Michigan; her sisters, Stephanie (Samuel) Jackson of Battle Creek, Michigan, Mariah White of Battle Creek, Michigan, Brittany Young of Battle Creek, Michigan and Kadee Bechman of S. Carolina and her brother, Kevin White of Battle Creek, Michigan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
