Nancy Ellen (Wolfe) Gaige

Nancy Ellen Gaige, 89, of Litchfield, passed away on December 30, 2022, at the Villas of Winston Court in Marshall.

Nancy was born in Tiffin, Ohio on October 16, 1933, to Herbert and Esther (Baum) Wolfe. She was a graduate of Bellevue High School in Ohio, class of 1951. After high school she attended college at Mt. Union College in Ohio. She worked as a librarian for the Library of Michigan in Lansing. On March 13, 1954 she married David Dailey; he preceded her in death on March 27, 1977. She then marred Donald Boose; he preceded her in death. She then married Albert Gaige in 1985; he preceded her in death in 2018. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She served with Mobile Misssionary Assistance Programs from 1987 - 2012, where she completed 100 projects. During that time, she and her husband Albert visited all 48 lower states and Mexico.

Nancy is survived by her sons, David (Teresa) Dailey, Steven (Marcie) Dailey, Brian (Susan) Dailey, Brenda Dailey Comer, Douglas (Jennifer) Dailey; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and three more expected soon; one brother, John (Cherrie) Wolfe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her three late husbands.

Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service in the Kempf Reception Hall. Interment will take place at 3 p.m. on Thursday in Arlington Hill Cemetery in Bangor. Memorials may be given in Nancy's name to a missionary program of the donor's choice.
