Mary Anne (Neufer) Wildt

Mary Anne Wildt, age 79, of Homer, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at home with family. She was born in Albion, MI, on August 23, 1942, the daughter of the late William Neufer and Annabelle Settler Neufer.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker and worked on the family farm all her life. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and going to Fire Keepers Casino in Battle Creek. She was united in marriage with Thomas Martin Wildt on June 8,1963. They enjoyed forty-six years of marriage and raised three sons. Later in life she and Thomas enjoyed wintering in Lakeland, FL, at Twin Palms, where she enjoyed playing shuffleboard. Thomas preceded Mary in death on November 8, 2009.

Mary is survived by her sons, Doug (Shelly) Wildt, Todd Wildt (Lynette Carr), Kevin Wildt (Ulricke McCone); eight grandchildren, Sarah, Lauren (Nick), Morgan (Bryceton), Samia, Emily (Alissa), Meagan, Mathew, and Emma; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Bieskie and one brother, Donnie Neufer; and her dear friends, Rene and Linda Miller. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Neufer.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 303 S Hillsdale St, Homer, MI 49245. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Rev James Codde will officiate the service, with interment following in Fisher Cemetery in Homer Township.
