Mary Kaye Mestdagh, age 73, of Homer died early Saturday morning, November 14, at Marshall Nursing and Rehabilitation Community surrounded by her loving family.Mrs. Mestdagh was born on July 13, 1936 in Homer to John Gordon and Charlotte (Edwards) Hepler. She was a graduate of Homer High School, class of 1953. Mary had been employed the Albion Community Hospital as a Ward Clerk. She had also worked for the Calhoun Bank in Homer.On October 1, 1955, she married Kenneth Albert Mestdagh in Concord at St. Catherine Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on August 22, 1996.Mary was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Albion and had formerly attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Marshall. She was a very caring and generous person, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities. She had also volunteered her time with the Homer Caring and Sharing program. Another benefactor of her time was the Homer Alumni Banquet. She enjoyed working in her yard and cooking for family gatherings.She is survived by daughters, Jacquelyn "Jackie
