Mark "Tire Man" Alan Collier

Mark Alan Collier, 71, of Albion, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  
Mark was born on June 5, 1952, to William and Norma (McDonald) Collier in Albion, Michigan. He graduated from Springport High School in 1970 and shortly thereafter joined the Army National Guard where he served for 12 years.  On November 5, 1977, he married the love of his life Donna Mae Brumley of Albion.   
Mark farmed alongside his brother on their family farm and later worked for Miller Supply Company in Albion where he assembled, demonstrated, and sold farm equipment.  In 1978, he joined Halliburton of Albion before deciding to venture out on his own.  July of 1983, he opened Albion Tire City, Inc. where he worked alongside his wife for 34 years and then retired in 2017.  Mark and Donna also owned and operated Collier’s Painted Acres horse farm in Albion.  
Mark enjoyed playing fast pitch softball during his younger years and later in life found a love for golf.  He loved hunting, fishing, and playing cards and never came home empty handed when attending a horse auction or visiting the casino.  Mark loved wintering in Florida with Donna but most importantly, he enjoyed time spent with family.  His children and grandchildren were very much his pride and joy. He was a member of the Duck Lake Country Club and Albion Elks Lodge.  
Mark is survived by his loving wife Donna; children Nickolas (Stacy) Collier of Olivet and Kelli (Shawn) Geisen of Albion; grandchildren, Easton and Harper Collier along with Wyatt and Whitney Geisen; siblings Kay Savolainen, Corinne (Jim) Poe, Sharon Kidder, and Kent Collier.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Norma Collier and father and mother-in-law, Lewis (Rena) Brumley.
Mark will be remembered as a remarkable husband, father, and friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.
Visitation will be held Friday March 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services Marshall, MI.     
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068.  A luncheon will be held Immediately following at Duck Lake Country Club Albion, Michigan.  Pastor Matt Rhode will be officiating.
