Margaret L. (Allman) Stevens

Margaret L. Stevens, 96 of Battle Creek went home to be with her Lord, her Husband Lyle, and her Son Larry on Wednesday May 5, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family following a long illness.
Margaret was born on July 26, 1924 in Albion to George and Tidy (Hobart) Allman. She graduated from Albion High School in 1943. On August 27, 1946 she married Lyle W. Stevens in Marshall. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2009.
Margaret worked for Needham Cleaners in Marshall for many years. She attended Family Bible Church, and she enjoyed playing bingo. Margaret along with her husband Lyle, would enjoy riding their motorcycle with friends, canoeing on the Kalamazoo River, going to several Blue Grass Festivals, and camping.
She is survived by her daughters Gail Stevens and Janine (Randy) Moore; grand children Matthew Stevens and Christopher Stevens; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, a son Larry Stevens in 2000, and six siblings.
