Madeline Patricia (Ryan) Kennedy

Heaven gained a special angel on Monday, March 7, 2022. Madeline Patricia (Ryan) Kennedy, age 69, passed away in her home in Marshall, MI. She was born in Detroit, MI to Roy and Magdeline Ryan. She married Brent Kennedy on May 12, 1972, and this was their 50th year of loving marriage. Together they raised three children.

Madeline enjoyed watching her children grow and savored those moments the best she could through scrapbooking. She had a love for cooking Italian food that she learned to make from her cousin Cookie and spent many hours in her restaurant. In her later years she devoted her life to caring for her family. She spent her days babysitting her grandchildren. Madeline also loved to go with her closest family and friends to the casino. She always had hope to one day hit it big and give her family everything they ever wanted.

Madeline leaves behind her husband, Brent, and three children Mark R. (Susan) Kennedy, Kristin A. (Bryan) Smith and Katie L. (Rodney) Kennedy; her grandchildren Kyler Pelmear, Molly Smith, Meg Smith, Mac O’Dell, and Jack O’Dell, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving sister Lillian Thompson.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the funeral home. Private interment will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
