LUCILLE ELAINE KIESSLINGLucille Elaine Kiessling, age 95, of Orange Park, Florida and formerly of Albion died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in Florida.Mrs. Kiessling was born on July 22, 1911 in San Angelo, Texas to Franz Louis and Christine Johanna (Johnson) Allison. She married Edward W. Kiessling in 1933. The couple resided in Albion and owned and operated the Kiessling Jewelry Store in downtown Albion from 1931 until 1953. Mr. Kiessling preceded her in death in 1954. Lucille then moved to North Carolina, living in the cities of Conover and Hickory. While living in Hickory, she was employed as a Secretary at the law office of William Chambley. She later moved to Florida to live closer to her daughter, Kathryn.Mrs. Kiessling was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church in Orange Park and was a former member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Marshall.She is survived by twin daughters, Kathryn Blondell of Orange Park, FL and Karen Little of New Orleans, LA; son, Reverend Richard Kiessling of Portland, OR; 10 grandchildren, Julie Liedtke, Jill Davitt, Mark Kiessling, Jennifer Johnson, Sheri Bansemer, Jon Kline, Jeremy Shears, Heather Fairclough, Nicole Oglevee and Matthew Blondell; and 15 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Irene Kiessling, Ethel Harrison, Esther Carlson and Leola Beck; brother, Einer Allison.The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Friday, September 1, 2006 at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 2, at Zion Lutheran Church the Pastor Roger James officiating. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Zion Lutheran Church. Assistance with memorials is available at the funeral home.
