Lorna Jean Marske

Lorna Jean (Willett) Marske, 96, of Marshall, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 surrounded by her family. 

Lorna was born on May 22, 1927 in Mason, Michigan to Paul M.J and Isabelle (Willis) Willett.She graduated from Dearborn High School in 1945. Lorna worked for many years as a Bookkeeper for Court-Putnam Funeral Home and for Coldwell Banker.

Lorna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active for years as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society doing fundraisers. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing at Lake Mitchell in Cadillac, completing wordsearches, and reading. 

Lorna is survived by her children, Paula June, Sharla (Paul) Herman, and Harold “Rick” F. Yaudes; grandchildren, Sarah (Cam) LaFountain, James (Brandee) Herman, Paul Matthew Herman, Jacob (Olivia) Herman, and Garrick Yaudes; several great-grandchildren; special friends, Jerry and Anita Clifton, and CJ and Darrin Shapiro; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold F Yaudes; second husband, Alvin Marske; her parents and sisters; and son-in-law, Paul David June.

Cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
