Lisa Theresa Meneguzzo

Lisa Theresa Meneguzzo, 58, of Battle Creek, Michigan, formerly of Garden City, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. 
 She was born on June 10,1965 to John and Theresa (Carpenter) Meneguzzo in Detroit, Michigan.
 Lisa grew up in Garden City, Michigan and graduated from Garden City East High School. She worked as an office clerk at the local community center in the Garden City area, and was, most importantly, a loving daughter, sister, and aunt of her family.
Lisa will be profoundly missed for her smile, quick wit and laughter which would light up the room. She loved to bake, especially chocolate chip cookies, celebrate holidays, family picnics, and events, swimming, and activities with her family. Lisa was a very kindhearted, gracious and a loving person who wanted nothing more than to make everyone feel welcome.  She loved her family and looked forward to their visits and celebrations with them as well. Her extended family, Calhoun County Medical Care Facility, where she resided for many years, were so special to her and provided extraordinary care to her. No words can convey the wonderful care the team provided.
 Lisa is survived by her loving siblings, Paula (Robert) Riggs of East Leroy, Michigan, Marianne (David) Stier of Battle Creek, Michigan, Peter Meneguzzo of Battle Creek, Michigan, Maureen (Gary) Smith of Northville, Michigan, Carmen (Steven) Schwenk of East Leroy, Michigan, Timothy (Denise) Meneguzzo of Battle Creek, Michigan and Christopher (Verna) Meneguzzo of Battle Creek, Michigan; her nephews and nieces, Rob (Tracy) Riggs, Jesse Riggs; Katie Blazewski, Crystal (Thomas) Prebish, Nicole (Chris) Ryan; and her three great nephews, Robert J. Riggs, Harrison Prebish, and Deacon Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Deborah Blazewski and her brother, John Anthony Meneguzzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at St. Kenneth Catholic Church (14951 N. Haggerty Rd. Plymouth, MI. 48170) with Fr. Tom Belczak officiating.    
 Burial will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery & Mausoleum in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. 
 Memorials are suggested to the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility (1150 E. Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49014) or Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care Center (1150 E. Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49014).
