Levi Xavier Chalfant

Levi Xavier Chalfant, affectionately known as little Superman, stillborn infant of Battle Creek, passed away on October 14, 2022 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan.

Levi is survived by his loving parents; Silas Chalfant and Jessica Castro of Battle Creek, Michigan, his maternal grandmother; Terri  Castro of Battle Creek, Michigan, his paternal grandmother; Naomi (Brandon) Crandall of Battle Creek, Michigan, his paternal grandfather, Silas (Candy) Chalfant of Battle Creek, Michigan, his maternal great grandmothers, Betty (DuWayne) Osborne of Otsego, Michigan and Frieda Rosell of Battle Creek, Michigan, his maternal great grandfather; Terry (Robin) Halsey of Battle Creek, Michigan, his paternal great grandmother; Margaret (Loren) Dingman of Battle Creek, Michigan, and his paternal great grandfather; Silas (Donna) Chalfant of Lakeland, Florida. He was also survived by several aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fredrick Castro.

A private visitation and funeral service will take place at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 2838 Capital Ave. SW Battle Creek, Michigan 49015.
