Kurt Bruno Askew

Kurt Bruno Askew, 72, of Battle Creek, passed away on May 11, 2023 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.

Kurt was born in Battle Creek on May 13, 1950. He worked for Post Cereal Company, retiring after many years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and tending to his garden. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Kurt is survived by his children, Paul Askew, Jared William Askew, and Jami Fields; his stepdaughter, Melissa Suggs; six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Jeff (Liz) Askew and Eric (Denise) Askew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Jean Askew; his father and stepmother, Donald Edward Askew and Helen Askew; his sister, Wendy Panczyk and his brother, Conrad Askew.
