Kristine Kaye (Lawhead) Kelly

Kristine Kaye Kelly, 47, of Battle Creek, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Bronson Health Care in Battle Creek.

She was born February 7, 1974 in Battle Creek to William Lawhead and Ruth Keifer. Kristine graduated from Battle Creek Central High School but most of her school years were in Tekonsha. She married Eric Kelly on November 24, 2012 in Battle Creek.

Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Battle Creek.

Kristine loved to cook and bake- especially cookies. She enjoyed tending to her garden, reading, watching soap operas and TV shows and singing. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved to have backyard bon fires.

She is survived by her loving husband; Eric Kelly of Battle Creek, her 2 sons; Nathanial Kelly of Battle Creek and Austin Kelly of Battle Creek, her granddaughter; Marissa Kelly of Battle Creek, her mother; Ruth Keifer of Homer, her father; William (Carol) Lawhead of Conyers, Georgia, her maternal grandmother; Lillian Keifer of Homer and her sister; Diane Jones of Grand Rapids.

A Celebration of Kristine’s life will take place at a later date.
