Kimberly "Kim" R. (Caffrey) Duckham

Kimberly Robin “Kim” (Caffrey) Duckham, 58, of Bellevue, died peacefully in the comfort of her home in Bellevue on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Kim was born on March 4, 1963, in Marshall to Carlton Laverne and Marlene (Spells) Caffrey.  She grew up in Marshall and was a member of the Marshall High School graduating class of 1981.  Kim was a dedicated and loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed anything outdoors!  Hunting, fishing, and camping were favorite lifelong activities.  Kim loved to work with her hands building and crafting.

Art was a huge passion and talent of Kim’s.  She created many pieces that are still an inspiration to her family today, such as portraits of her family members drawn by hand.  She loved to make jewelry out of stones she found such as Petoskey Stones and other gems. Her grandkids were Kim’s pride and joy.  Being a wonderful grandmother, she took her role of spoiling them seriously and loved doing it!

Kim will be missed by her children Nichole (Josef) Mogharreban, Corrine (Greg) Scott, Leslie Toledo and Jason Duckham, her beloved eight grandchildren; her brother Robert Caffrey and sister Heidi (Randy) Hazel, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Marlene Joanne (Spells) Murphy and her father Carlton Laverne Caffery.

A gathering will be held from 11AM until the time of the memorial service at 1PM with Jacob Washburn as Celebrant on Thursday, October 7, at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N., Marshall, MI 49068. Kim’s family invites you to join them following the service in the funeral home’s reception hall for a time of sharing memories and stories of her life.
