Kevin Mark Lowrie

Kevin Mark Lowrie, age 51, of Marshall died Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2009 at Tendercare of Marshall.Mr. Lowrie was born on October 13, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan to William J. and Ethel R. (Woods) Lowrie. He was a graduate of Lansing Everett High School, class of 1975. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was stationed upon the USS Casmir Pulaski submarine.A marriage to Cheryl McNeil ended in divorce.Following his stint in the Navy, he began a career with the Lansing Electric Company and quickly rose to the position of senior apprentice. Kevin was involved in a very serious industrial accident and was forced to retire in 1984. He soon returned to live with his parents in the Duck Lake and Marshall areas.Kevin was a member of the Marshall Moose Lodge #676 and enjoyed listening to music and playing cards. He especially enjoyed playing solitaire. In his youth, he enjoyed motor sports, cars and spending time with his many friends.He is survived by his mother, Ethel "Bunny
