Kathleen Estelle (Hill) Rasmussen

Kathleen Estelle Rasmussen, 89, of Marshall, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Villa at Winston Court in Marshall.

Kathleen was born in Marshall on January 27, 1934, to Richard and Margaret (Fisher) Hill. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1951. After high school, she married Frank Murphy and they had 4 children together. She worked as a Clerk for Calhoun County Sherriff Department for 17 years, and later worked at the Marshall Public Library. She was married to Carl Boucher, who preceded her in death. She then married Al Rasmussen, who also preceded her in death. She was long time member of First Baptist Church of Marshall. Later in life, she attended Christ Lutheran Church in Marshall.

Kathleen is survived by four sons, Michael (Patricia) Murphy, Robert Murphy, Timothy (Tammie) Murphy, and Steven Murphy; two sisters, Margery Rule and Janet Devlin; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Henry Hill and Margaret Marie Hill; brother, Richard Hill; late husband, Carl Boucher; and late husband, Al Rasmussen

Friends may gather with the family from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068, where a funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception in the Kempf Reception Center. Private interment will take place later in Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall.
