Jill Maureen (Sturm) Snook

Jill Maureen Snook (Sturm) of Albion, Michigan went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 7, 2022. Jill was born in St Claire Shores MI, on May 25th, 1954, the daughter of Anthony and Anne Sturm (Rogan).

Jill married the "Love of Her Life", John Snook of Albion, MI on July 20, 2002, who survives her. Jill is also survived by her loving step children Jessica and Aaron Addis, and Jacob Snook; her grandchildren Jaelynn and Quentin Myers, Aaryonna and Aavin Addis, and Jordan, Danielle, McKenzie, and Jax Snook; brothers, Michael Sturm and Tim Sturm of Commerce Township, MI and sisters-in-law of Barbara Sturm (Hewitt) and Kerry Sturm (Brulla); nieces and nephews, Jennifer Grail (Sturm) of Clarkston MI, Cynthia Hefke (Sturm) of Milford, MI., Toni New (Sturm) and Erik Sturm both of Livonia, MI. Jill was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Anne Sturm and a brother Maurice Sturm of Westland, MI.

Jill was a graduate of Gallaudet College and retired from Daimler Chrysler in Auburn Hills MI where she worked for 30 years. Jill also attended the Helen Keller Institute of NY in 1973 - 1975.

She loved animals and especially her cat BJ. Jill and John enjoyed each other’s company and companionship and worshiped together at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marshall. Jill also loved doing everything and anything with her husband John including hunting and traveling.

Friends may gather with the family from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. A prayer service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, in the funeral home chapel. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 212 W. Hanover St, Marshall, MI 49068. Rev. Fr. Craig Lusk will officiate the Mass, with interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Marshall.
