Jane VandenHeede

Jane VandenHeede, 81, of Marshall, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Comfort Care Senior Living.

She was born in Sheridan Township, MI, on August 11, 1940, a daughter of the late Glenn Lake and Marian Lucile (Tooley) Lake. Jane graduated from Marshall High School and was a resident of Marshall. She was an underwriter with State Farm Insurance for 44 years, enjoyed playing golf, working in her yard, and she was an avid U of M fan.

Jane is survived by two sisters, Janice Rush and Nancee Brewer; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Kevin VandenHeede, and Gregory VandenHeede; brother, Darrell Ott; sister, Sandra Lake; and brother-in-law, Harold Brewer Jr.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and cremation services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068.
