James Carl Threet III

James Carl Threet III, age 25, of Bellevue, MI, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

James was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on September 4, 1997. He attended Bellevue Schools before transferring and graduating from West Michigan Virtual Academy in 2016. James worked in construction. James absolutely adored his daughter. She was his best friend and she meant the world to him. James loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed music, loved animals, and his many tattoos. James was very compassionate & empathetic to others.

He is survived by his mother, Malynda (Greene) Sofia and her husband Michael; his father, James Carl Threet II and his wife Laura; one daughter, Zelda Threet; brothers and sisters, Orion Threet and his wife Andrea, Zadia Threet, Mercedes Threet, and Haley Threet; grandparents, Rex and Lynda Greene; aunts and uncles, Jay Greene, Jennifer (Rusty) McKeown, and Rebecca Rockwell; and the mother of his daughter, Marissa Isaacson.

A private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to his daughter Zelda Threet. A fund has been set up for her at Independent Bank in Bellevue. Memorial contributions may also be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses, or to the Humane Society of South-Central Michigan.
