Hope Linae (Newsome) Norton

Hope Linae Norton, 23, of Marshall, passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2021, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, MI.

Hope was born on October 16, 1998, in Marshall, Michigan to Lynn and Jill (Eberhard) Newsome. She grew up in Marshall and was a member of the Marshall High School graduating class of 2017. She married Bailey on October 25, 2019, and they remained in Marshall.

Hope was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, foster parent, friend and helper to anyone and everyone needing anything at all! Born with the heart of an angel, Hope as a young child baked Cookies for Cancer and sold them to raise funds for her Uncle Layn that was battling cancer. Also, used her own money to purchase stuffed animals to share joy with children who required medical care in Oaklawn Hospital. That same angelic heart grew into becoming a foster parent and working kindly as a CNA for Senior Care Partners.

Hope will be missed beyond measure by her husband, Bailey; son, Kamryn; parents, Lynn and Jill Newsome; brother, Tucker Newsome; grandmother, Thelma Eberhard and anyone who ever knew her or had been touched by her loving kindness. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Chester and Tilda Newsome; grandfather, Donald Eberhard; aunts and uncles, Greta and Ron Caudill, Layn Newsome and Lori and Mark Waidelich.

Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan 49068. A visitation will be held Monday, October 25, 2021, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm as well as Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 1:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Devon Shephard officiating. A procession to Rice Creek Cemetery for a committal service and burial will take place following the funeral.
