Gerald. Linsley, 89, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on September 22, 2023, at Lakeview Assisted Living in Battle Creek. Gerald was born on December 18, 1933, in Kalamo Township, Michigan to LZ and Alta (Rice) Linsley.

Gerald was a graduate of Bellevue High School. He married Mary Richard on October 12, 1952, in Kalamo, Michigan. They worked together as dairy farmers for more than 20 years and moved into real estate together as realtors and brokers. He was a longtime member of Nashville Baptist Church and a former member of Minges Creek Racquet Club in Battle Creek. He loved to play tennis and he enjoyed playing golf, playing cards with friends and grandchildren and wintering with Mary in Florida. Above all else, Gerald loved his family. He will be missed for his gracious and generous heart.

Gerald is survived by his sons, Carl (Terri) Linsley of Battle Creek, and Gary (Penny) Linsley of Battle Creek; his 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and his sister-in-law; Gloria Linsley. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary; parents, his son, Gordon Linsley; and his brothers, Bernard (Barb) and Donald.

A private graveside service will be held at Ellis Cemetery in Assyria Township, Michigan with Pastor Lester DeGroot officiating. Memorial contributions are requested to Nashville Baptist Church, 309 Phillips St, Nashville, MI 49073. Arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 205 N.
