Eileen Verena Stanton, 85, of Bellevue, passed away on December 9, 2022, in Marshall, MI.

She was born on June 29, 1937, to Harvey and Verena (Roush) Bibbings, in Battle Creek, Michigan. Eileen graduated from Gull Lake High School in 1955. She met her husband Harold, when they lived in the same neighborhood in Bedford. Eileen worked at Kelloggs when she got out of school, until she had children. Eventually she took a job as a cook for the Bellevue Public School System before retiring.

Eileen was a top-notch mom. She was always there for her family, especially her kids. She worked hard for to help provide for her family. She was very outgoing, a people person. She loved to play Scrabble, crocheting, knitting, playing Bingo with her sister-in-law Joyce. She spent a lot of time camping with her husband every year, looking for mushrooms. Some years they brought back paper bags full of mushrooms.

She was a member of the Convis Union Methodist Church of Battle Creek.

Eileen is survived by her loving children, Michael (Rebecca L.) Stanton of Bellevue, Michigan, Daniel Stanton of Bellevue, Michigan, Julie (Brian) Fenimore of Battle Creek, Michigan, Todd Stanton of Bellevue, Michigan; Brother John L. Bibbings of Marshall, Michigan; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her loving husband of many years, Harold Manson Stanton; Brothers, Charles Bibbings, James Bibbings; Sister, Doris Bibbings.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Funeral and Cremation Services, Marshall.

Memorials are suggested to the Convis Union Methodist Church, 18990 12 Mile Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49014.
