Duane Lynn Robinson, 73, of Marshall, passed away on April 24, 2024 at his home in Marshall, MI. He was born on February 3, 1951 to Lynn and Alice (Cotton) Robinson in Battle Creek, MI. Duane worked as a Supervisor for Kellogg Cereal Company for 24 years and for Lakeview Schools until he retired. He really enjoyed working at Kellogg’s and he enjoyed working with his co-workers. On July 3, 1998, Duane married Debra Lynne Bradford in Marshall. 

 

Duane loved playing golf, softball and basketball. He really enjoyed living on Lyon Lake with Debra and swimming in the lake. He was quite the animal whisperer; animals would come up to him all the time. He was a MSU fan and liked watching basketball on TV. Duane liked to help Debra with her pottery studio in Marshall.

 

Duane is survived by his loving spouse of 25 years, Debra; son, Matt (Cynthia) Robinson of Marshall, stepdaughters, Lesley (Jose') Cardoza of WA, Courtney (Corey) Olcheske of PA; grandchildren, Kalei, Kieren, Kaiven, Karis, Dahrien, Makenna, Rayden; great-grandchildren, Milly, Ozzy, Araeya, Desson; siblings, Mike (Ada) Robinson, Gary Robinson and Carol Robinson. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 
     

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, 4:00 pm at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Marshall, Michigan, with Ada Robinson officiating.
