Douglas D. Johnson

Douglas D. Johnson, 68, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 13, 1953 to Albert and Juanita (Gifford) Johnson Battle Creek, Michigan. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1971.

Douglas worked as the owner of Doug's Grumpy Trucking, which was an over the road trucking company

He married the love of his life Holly Johnson.

Doug loved driving around the country in his 18 wheeler and enjoying all the stops along the way. He also loved to ride his Indian motorcycle, go to the casino, fishing, and partying in his man cave with the music playing loud. He will be sorely missed by his dogs Jenny and Jacqueline.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife Holly, his step-daughter, Heather Music of Battle Creek, Michigan; his step-grandson, Dakota Music of Battle Creek, Michigan; his sisters; Patty (Douglas) Kinkema of Lake City, Michigan, Nancy (Ted LeDoux) Johnson of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
