Dorothy Kay (Eisenhauer) Gordon, 75, of Marshall, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Dorothy was born in Marshall, Michigan on December 15, 1947 to Fred G. and Dorothy (Smith) Eisenhauer. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1966 and went on to Johnson and Wales University, College of Culinary Sciences in Charleston, South Carolina. Dorothy worked for many years as a chef.
Dorothy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marshall where she served as a Deacon. She was also a member of the Mary Marshall Chapter DAR and the Marshall Historical Society.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Bill) Sargent; grandsons, Hayden and Michael Johnston; sister, Claudia (Coburn) Colwell; nephew, Timothy Colwell; niece, Malinda Colwell; and cousin, Beth (Robert) Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gordon, and her parents.
Family will receive guests on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Kempf Reception Center, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan 49068.
Memorial contributions can be made on Dorothy’s behalf to the Governor’s Mansion Museum via the Community Foundation or to the First Presbyterian Church in Marshall.
