Don Martin Frye

Don Martin Frye, 79, of Battle Creek formerly of Homer, died on Friday September 24, 2021, at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence following a short illness.

Martin was born on September 16, 1942, in Mason, Illinois to Don W. and Mary A. (Martin) Frye.  He attended school in Illinois.  Martin joined the United States Army in 1959, and he served during the Korean War.  He was honorably discharged in 1962.

Martin worked a a machine operator for Leer Company in Marshall for several years, and prior to that he worked for Miller Brothers in Homer.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and going for drives.  Martin especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children Amanda Frye and Adam Frye; and a sister Diane Frye.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son Spencer Frye; and former wife Nancy Frye.
