Doc C Falk

Doc C Falk, 82, of Grass Lake, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, May 26, 2023.

Doc was born on July 8, 1940 to Russell Falk and Leona Steele in Maple River Township, Michigan. He worked as a baker for Felpausch Food Center for 42 years before his retirement.

Doc married the love of his life, Jane Lokken, on July 30, 1960 at the First Congregational Church in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. They spent 40 wonderful years together before Jane passed in 2000.

For over 50 years Doc was a member of the Marshall Moose Lodge. He was elected a Pilgrim of the Moose Lodge in 1998. He was a part of the ritual team at the Moose Lodge and would cook on Friday nights and at Sunday morning breakfasts. Doc also enjoyed bowling and woodworking with his scroll saw.

Doc is survived by his son, Ronald (Anna) Falk; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; son, Douglas Falk; daughter Melanie Sanders.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10am-12pm at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan 49068. A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm at Lyon Lake Cemetery, 8803 17 Mile Road, Marshall, Michigan 49068.
